As a Clinical Nutritionist and Medical Doctor, I am driven by a mission to establish clinical nutrition as a cornerstone of Myanmar’s healthcare system. I chose to specialize in nutrition when the discipline was in its developing stage and offered limited professional opportunity.

Demonstrating this pioneering spirit, I joined the inaugural first batch of the MSc Nutrition and Dietetics program in 2016 to help build a specialty that is now vital to holistic patient care.

Building on my foundational experience as the full-time Clinical Nutritionist at Pun Hlaing Hospitals (2018–2021), I currently serve as a Clinical Nutritionist at Bahosi Hospital, Pun Hlaing Clinics (Taw Win), Dermaluxe Medical Group, and Pyi Thar Yar Medical Center. Beyond clinical practice, I am an active advocate for public health, serving as a health host on TV and FM radio and a volunteer doctor at the Shwe Yaung Hnin Si Cancer Foundation.

My contributions to the field include authoring three books and presenting as a speaker at both local and international scientific conferences. By bridging the gap between medical treatment, academic research, and public education, I remain dedicated to elevating the nutrition profession to improve patient outcomes across Myanmar.
